Sweet Music Helps You Relax and Fall Asleep Fast
Falling asleep fast is a skill I have been blessed with for most of my life so far. I’ve been one of those irritating people who can basically just go horizontal and drift off within minutes. On the floor, on the couch, in a recliner, in bed. It hasn’t seemed to matter. My brain just seems to have been wired to easily fall into slumber when I give it the cues of lying down and closing my eyes.
For most of my life, I said.
Oh, I would still call myself a “good sleeper” in comparison to a lot of people I know and hear from here at Sleep Satisfaction. But I’ve struggled a bit more in the last couple of years or so. Maybe because I have never had many sleeping problems, now when I do take a little longer to go, it really bugs me.
What I’ve noticed is that when I lie down and close my eyes, with only my own thoughts, worries and stresses rolling around my mind, I’ll just lie there and stew. But if I can distract my brain by listening to something, it somehow gives me the relief I need to relax enough to drift off.
I’ve been on the hunt for great audios to help me with that. And I’ve shared some really helpful ones in previous blog posts.
Here’s the latest one by Silent Rhythm on YouTube. You can also stream or download them from your favorite source for music and audio. Just see the notes on the video on YouTube. That’s really convenient because then you don’t have to have a video playing all night!
I hope you enjoy!
